Thoughts: Looks like Brown is going to be wearing Rondo's old number. Looks like a fun team to watch. Glad we get to see Yabusele. I wish Zizic could have made it. Only one center listed. Lots of small ball. Surprised to see that Colton Iverson isn't on the team again.

I know that ESPN and NBA TV will be televising them. Not sure of online.
Not sure about Zizic but I read somewhere it has to do with his contract with his European team and not having a buyout yet. Not sure if that was accurate or not but makes sense.

I know that Zizic said he wanted to play in the NBA next year, and did not sound like he would appreciate being stashed for a year.
Does that seem to indicate he's no longer under his overseas team's contract and is at liberty to come to the US?

That could mean that he has a buy out in his contract but if he hasn't bought it out yet, he couldn't play in summer league.

I don't care about how these players do, or the stats they put up, in summer league. I'm more interested in how competition is in practices.
Rozier vs. Demetrius Jackson
I expect Rozier to win this battle overall -- but I really want to see Rozier impose his will offensively against Jackson. Demetrius is pretty strong, has a long wingspan, and has a huge vertical. Won't be an easy battle for Rozier.
Yabusele vs. Bentil
I have high hopes for Yabusele, but Bentil is hard to guard because he's quick to pull the trigger on his jumper, even behind the arc, and so Yabusele will have to play him closely. But Bentil is also quick to put the ball on the ground when defenders bite on his pump fakes.
On the other end, I don't think Bentil can keep up with Yabusele. Too strong, too nimble.
RJ Hunter vs. James Young
Young has to come out swinging because there's a lot on the line. If he falls too far behind RJ, he may not be able to recover.

Does anyone know if the games are going to be available for viewing online? The games will be on NBA TV and on CSNNE and the local Utah tv stations. They will also be streamed online on ESPN 3 according to NBA.com. |

I was pretty excited about Zizic. He seemed like if he could bulk up abit more and focused on working the paint, he could be a Marcin Gortat type player. I've also read good things about Jordan Mickey so hopefully he becomes a valuable asset off the bench.

Yes, there's lot of good vibes about Jordan Mickey. Good shot blocker and rebounder, and a developing perimeter game. Plus he runs the floor well. I can see him reaching a Taj Gibson level.
Zizic, reminds me of Steven Adams type player.
