I'm sure we're all tired with the draft talk, but hear me out a second. I haven't always been pleased with Danny's draft picks. I didn't like his pick of Marcus Banks, and then Gabe Pruitt a little later.
But more recently, with guys like JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore, Fab Melo, Kelly Olynyk, James Young; when I look at the demeanor of these guys, and compare their demeanor with the players Danny has drafted the past 3 drafts, there's a stark difference:
Marcus Smart
Terry Rozier
RJ Hunter
Jordan Mickey
Jaylen Brown
Guerschon Yabusele
Ante Zizic
Demetrius Jackson
Ben Bentil
All of these guys are go-getters. They're determined. The play with a chip on their shoulder. They mean business. They're tough. They have attitude. They attack.
Has there been a concerted effort to go after these type of personalities? Does Brad Stevens have anything to do with this shift recently?
