Brad Stevens has done a terrific job of leading this gritty team to 48 wins. He's taken other teams' unwanted and undervalued players (Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Jonas Jerebko, etc), and utilized their strengths and abilities to benefit the team.
But we still have big holes and problem areas that need addressing sometime in the near future. Such as:
• shot blocking • rebounding • better shooters • better quality scorers
Curious to see what Ainge does to improve some of these areas.

I'm anxious to see what Mickey can do. He put up some big numbers in Maine but never got much of a chance with the Celtics. We may have a shot blocker/rebounder already. I guess only time will tell. They gave him a 4 year contract for a reason when they didn't have to as a 2nd round player. He's an intriguing player. We could use another rim protector though. We definitely need better scorers. There were times when no one could hit a shot for long periods.
It will be interesting to see what Danny does with our free agents - Evan Turner unrestricted and Sully Restricted. I think Evan is a very versatile player and I'd like to see him back at the right money.
I like Sully. I do. But his work ethic has me worried. He started out great and by the end of the season seemed to be out of condition again. And that is in a contract year. I don't know what to think about him.

Let Sully go. Undersized, poorly conditioned (which to me indicates a lack of seriousness) and hasn't shown much improvement over the years (which also shows a lack of seriousness). No reason to think he'll get much better now.
I've come to really like Turner, and I read the other day that he shot 50% on 3's over the last 3 months, after shooting horribly in the past from deep. They really need him as a secondary playmaker because Smart ain't that guy, and Rozier is still raw. I'd want him for the right price.
I agree about Mickey. Clearly they saw something in him to give him the 4 years. With Sullinger gone, there should be room for him to get some minutes. Gotta find out sometime if he's a player or not. I don't think he's gonna learn much more in the D league.

Agree with you both. Mickey just may turn out to be a quality big who can defend, block shots, rebound, and score (even from the perimeter).
And Evan Turner has changed my mind -- I wasn't a fan before, but by the end of the season, he was maybe the 3rd most valuable player on our team. At the right price, I'd hold onto him.
