Tony Allen has been indicted on battery charges--possibly sentenced to 5 years in prison. He and his attorney are going to fight it, but I don't know how optimistic I should be about this. Boy, why did he have to go to the club that night? This really hurts because I was counting on Allen giving our team a boost soon. This throws a wrench in my outlook for the team this year.

That is only if he is convicted. And my belief is one of his posse did the fighting, so he is no more than a key witness.
My guess is no jail time, a fine, and a defendent in a civil case - if convicted of whatever.
Regardless, this is a distraction that hurts a promising career with Tony Allen being in the wrong court at this time.
He is on IR, so the real question is when is he available to come off IR?

I still think we need to see what the video tape shows.

Unreliable health and unreliable behavior. A truely horrendous combo.

Maybe we need to trade Tony Allen to the Jailblazers. Great Idea. For Travis Outlaw even.

Maybe we need to trade Tony Allen to the Jailblazers. Great Idea. For Travis Outlaw even. I thought Outlaw was suppose to be the new star in this league? Oh well, his value isn't as high as it was last year so you might be able to get him at a cheap price.
