The next area Jefferson needs to work on is body control. He flops around all over the place and bangs into guys, which leads to a lot of careless ticky tack fouls. When he jumps out on picks, he's gotta be better at keeping himself under control and not run into the ball handler.
On offense, he needs to be crisper with his moves and really plant himself so that he has a solid base instead of flopping around. He's also playing gingerly at times, instead of trying to devour and crush his defender. Tonight, he had an opportunity to totally posterize a guy under the basket. But Jefferson merely gets the ball above the rim and instead of powering it through the hoop, he holds back and gingerly tries to coax it in because I guess he didn't want to hurt the defender (who was in no position to even try and defend the dunk). The ball rims out, but luckily, the refs call a foul.

Jefferson appears so soft. He seems to be reluctant to dunk the basketball unlike many 20 and 10 PF's. Its good if people expect a dunk and he fools them by doing a roll in but it seems he never dunks.
