Just an observation, but it seems there's a pattern in the types of players we've been drafting and bringing in.
Similarities in Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier (both draftees under Brad Stevens' tenure) - both are scrappy, gritty, hard nosed, defensive oriented, leader-types observation = Brad likes bulldogs in the backcourt
Similarities in James Young and RJ Hunter - both are deep ball shooters who have quick releases, but not particularly strong at any other area. observation - Brad likes dead eye shooters, 3 point specialists
Similarities in Amir Johnson and Jordan Mickey - both are versatile defensive big men who play the 4 and 5, have strong bases to play bigger opponents, and long wing span to play taller guys.

Good observations. Versatile is a key word. I think he likes versatile players who can play multiple positions like Jae Crowder and Evan Turner as well. That versatility and their ability to switch on defense is a big part of his system.

Definitely. He works with what he has and since he has no stars people have to be able to do multiple things. Also injuries are major and benches are only so long. The days of never playing your third stringer are over. Some teams end up starting 4th stringers sometimes. Like Tim Frazier brought in on a 10 day contract. Then he resigns and then again. It's how Jeremy Lin made the league
