Thanks to Celticslife for posting this.
Danny Ainge was on Toucher and Rich this morning, and you get a lot more insight into what transpired last night. Toucher and Rich are good because they are much looser and more direct with their questions, and it seems Danny feels open enough to divulge some good nuggets to them, that he doesn't do in front of the news media.

Particularly what I found nice to hear about Rozier is how quickly he was climbing up the boards. Danny and Brad were intrigued by Rozier in his workouts in front of them (he worked out twice), and so were other teams who brought him in their own workouts.
Ainge seemed adamant that if they did not take him at 16, he would have been selected in the next 2 - 6 picks; that's how quickly he was rising up the boards.
Toucher and Rich said that fans are not liking the pick at all. Danny responded by saying when he was in Phoenix, fans didn't like it when he drafted Steve Nash. They didn't like it when he drafted Shawn Marion.
Danny also talked about the value of draft picks. Even though he dangled them, no team bit on the bait. He said its not that draft picks aren't valuable, but teams become enamored with the draftees they're targeting, and sometimes teams go overboard with that player, thinking they're going to be a superstar, when in reality its highly unlikely.
If I had to guess, I'm thinking he was pointing at the Hornets, who Danny offered 4 draft picks to, for the 9th pick (they took Frank Kaminsky).
Ainge didn't come out and say it, but from what is floating around, Justise Winslow was their target (who was drafted 10th, right after the Charlotte pick).
