With the 3rd pick of the 2nd, we take Jordan Micky -- an undersized PF height wise, but his arm length makes up for it.
Already he's the best defensive big man we have (which highlights our need of more defense up front).
Brandon Bass has an LSU brother again.

Led the nation in blocked shots. Yes, rim protection!

Boy, I was hoping my "boy" Kevon Looney from UCLA would drop to us, but the Warriors just had to snag him. Suppose for a 2nd rounder, we got a guy who can block shots and rebound - not too shabby.

Mev, what is your connection to UCLA again? I know you've mentioned it before, but my brain is slowly turning into mush. Are you from that area, or did you go to school there?

Mickey might be my favorite draft pick of the 4 guys we took today.
Nearly averaged 10 boards and 3.6 blocked shots (which lead the nation this season). This guy can cover ground defensively (pick and rolls), has good timing on his shot blocks, plays tough and is all about business, and can knock down face up 17 footers. Already the best athlete and best defender in our big man camp.
