We got a shooter, which was a need of ours.
Between him and James Young, its going to be a battle for who can play defense. Whoever wins that battle will earn playing time for Brad Stevens.

Nice pick at [HASH]28 - I loved his Dad's interview I heard on the radio after they won their NCAA game. Dad said he can be a great passer if he's got guys to pass it to. Has a good wing span per nba.com and I've read he can defend well.

I feel that Hunter, being 2 years older than James Young, is already a lot more polished and closer to getting into an NBA game than Young.
RJ has got to get stronger, though.
I actually don't know why Devin Booker was drafted that much higher than Hunter. From the looks of it, RJ can do more things, and is just as good of a shooter.

If he can provide a role like Patty Mills, or Eddie House (come off the bench and hit a couple of threes), I'll call it a good pick.

You know that play Brad runs, with the high post man handing off the ball to Bradley as he curls around? That's Bradley bread and butter play, but it always ends up being a long distance 2 pointer. Seems like an awful waste.
We can run this play for RJ now, as he is better at coming off the curl and firing away three point shots with ease.

I also like what I've read about him being good at getting to the FT line. Other than IT, we have no one who does that, and it's an easy way to get points.
