Ever think maybe this is why Parish just got hired with the team at another position? Maybe they have him lined up to be our future coach. It only makes sense because we have a lot of good big men on our team and with Parish guiding all of them, they can do even better on the offensive glass and develop better. I just have this gut feeling Parish will be taking over for Doc sometime. Not sure when but sometime. Jefferson could emerge into a star and Perkins can be a lot better if Parish takes over also due to Parish being great with working with big men. Parish could manage his fouls in his day also so he could teach that to the bigs also. Not to mention, Parish is closer with AInge than he is with Bird or Mchale so he has the biggest chance to be a head coach out of that big 3.

I hardly feel that Parish is 'coach' material. He's a stoic person who doesn't seem to have good communication skills. Doesn't seem like the type of person who can lead comfortably. We brought him in to do some PR moves, but I'm not sure if he fits into this role. I'm hoping they'll use him to work with Perk and Al.

Yeah, I can't really see him chewing someone's !!!GREENIAC!!!. I can see him as a great big man's coach, a nice calming presence in practice compared to Doc, who seems like the kind of guy that will really let you have it if you are fudging up.

Parish is a consultant, anyway, I think he might have been coaching behind the scenes and Blunt has benefitted the most. I am seeing some characteristics like running the floor, and spot up jumpers plus he is setting up way more picks and there is some chemistry brewing with Pierce and Davis.

Yea true. As a head coach, he could be a disaster also. Like Bill Cartwright was in Chicago. I just sorta had that gut feeling he coulda been lined up as a coach of the future.
