Today, I got to watch the draftexpress.com/youtube.com highlights.
What I liked: 1. Excellent defender 2. Stretch 4 that can post, and shoot the 3 3. Rebounds well, esp on the offensive side
What I didn't like: 1. Rather thin for a 6'10 player
Overall: I would like BOS to give him alot of consideration @16.

Agreed. He also has a bit of an edge to him. Portis would be on a short list of players that I want the C's to look at with the 16th pick.

Garnett was pretty skinny too -- but when you play angry, you'll find a way to hold your ground against bigger guys.

Garnett currently is 252 lbs (according to ESPN), but if I remember correctly, he came into the league at about 220. He became a lot stronger since his rookie year.
Portis is already at 240 lbs, and has a strong base, which is very important when it comes to holding down your position (compare him to Big Al, whose base is weak, which is why he can't hold his own one on one). So I think Portis isn't as thin as you think, RR.

Yeah, he could at least fight for his position better than a lot of PF prospects. And he plays defense like he cares about it.

Sometimes when players wear t-shirts underneath their jerseys, I think they are trying to hide they are thin.
