Today 5/27 the Celtics are working out the following guys.
David Kravish-Cal
Bobby Portis-ARK
Jordan Mickey-LSU
Marcus Thorton-W&M
Rakeem Christmas-Syracuse
Shannon Scott-OSU
Out of this group Portis is the only real sure fire first round pick. Portis is a solid all around player but I'm looking for more of an upside guy than him. Mickey and Christmas will be high second round picks, Mickey is a guy I would like the Celtics to take a look at with the 33rd pick.

Today 5/28 the Celtics are working out the following guys
David Kravish-Cal (I thought they worked him out yesterday)
Cliff Alexander-Kansas
Chasson Randle-Stanford
George De Paula-Brazil
Maxi Esho-Umass
Satnam Singh-IMG Academy
Some interesting guys today. Alexander is a big talent but under performed at Kansas while also being suspended for a nice chunk of the season. If Alexander is around in the 2nd round the Celtics will have to look hard at him, Alexander has a lot of upside.
De Paula is another high risk high reward guy. He's is a 6'6" PG with a 7'0" reach, De Paula just turned 19 last week. He's a project expected to go anywhere from late first to anywhere in the second. I like him though he has a long way to go, I believe he's only going to grow more too.

You all know the man crush i have on Cliff Alexander, so I'll save my breath.
Christmas and De Paula are intriguing. They both have crazy length. I also love Portis' game. I don't think he's going to be a star, but he's definitely going to be a player in this game. Just seems like a winner.

Keifer Sykes- Wisconsin Green Bay
Scott Eatherton- Northeastern
Travis Trice- Michigan State
Corey Waldman- Eastern Kentucky
Yanick Moreira- SMU
I don't know much about any of these guys, IMO they are possible second round/undrafted guys

I think the rationale for bringing in so many players is that some of these players won't get drafted, which is why the d-league Maine Claws is a nice option.
