You are in a private meeting room with Kevin Love. He's all ears and will strongly consider your selling points.
What are you bringing out?

Good owners.
Good GM.
Good coach.
Good fans.
Historic franchise.
Plenty of future picks.
2016 will have cap room to add another significant contract.

If you want an easy path don't come to Boston. If you want to work and lead come to Boston.

It's better to play WITH Kelly than against him?
Seriously, the organization, championship tradition, testimony of players like KG, Pierce, and the current players about what a great place it is to play.

I might just have Bill Russell call him and talk to him. Maybe show up at his house. Do his ring thing he did with KG where if you play your hardest and do the things you're supposed to do and you don't get a ring I'll give you one of mine.

Personally, I don't really want Love. He's very injury prone and not all that great on defense and I just think we could do better with the kind of money he's going to ask for.

Good points, FL.
Defense includes defensive boards, and Love is an excellent rebounder, so he's not a total non-contributor. But altering, deflecting, blocking shots are lacking in his game. If we have a true defensive presence at Center, he could help cover Love's man.
I'm interested in Love because we need upgrade in talent, and Love is a massive talent. He averaged 20 and 15, as well as 26 and 13 just a couple of years ago.

By the way, Isaiah Thomas was good friends with Love when they were kids. They slept over one another's house on the weekends. Thomas on the team could help entice Love to come this way.

This is off-topic, but one place that Love would really fit in well basketball-wise is back in minnesota. They'd have to find someone to take Pek's contract, but if they did, and let's say they have the 4th pick in the draft (the worst they could do), you'd be looking at a lineup of:
Rubio/LaVine Russell*/KMartin Wiggins/Mohammed/Budinger Love/Payne/Bennett Deing/Garnett
Great blend of young talent and solid veterans.
*or Mudiay or Winslow

K-Mart, Rubio, Pec. Wait, K-Love too. Carry on.

KMart has definitely been an injury mess throughout his career. Pec as well, which is a shame. That contract would end up being pretty good for the Wolves if he was healthy, but he's not, so it isn't.
I wouldn't put Rubio in the same boat as KMart and Pec. His injuries have been the kind any player would suffer. He's just had bad luck. None of them are really lingering issues.

Rubio has had a lot of lower leg injuries, which I attribute to his style of play. Love's injuries have been isolated.

I'm starting to agree with FL. I'm not saying I wouldn't want him, but I'm starting to wonder how much money I would want to spend on him
