A miracle (ha, beat you guys to it!).
Let's say we beat the odds and pull the ultimate Cinderella story, and as massive underdogs, beat whoever comes out of the West (I say San Antonio).
What will it take for us to pull this off? What things need to go right in order for this to happen?

They need to play near perfect defense. They need to have Crowder or someone step up and be able to slow down LeBron. They need to hit their shots and probably shoot over 50% most of the time. The starters need to play as well as the bench.
And praying a lot wouldn't hurt.

All of the teams we match up against would have to suffer cataclysmic injuries. Like Cleveland losing Lebron and Kyrie, Atlanta losing Horford and Milsap, etc. Besides that, there is absolutely no chance this team will win a title.

To win a championship with this team, everything would have to go right. Superstar players from opposing teams would not be available to play. Now, if the NBA changed the format to NCAA games (like one, and done), I could see BOS winning the tournament.

IMO, Evan Turner will need to play like a superstar. He'll need to average 30pts and 8apg, and hit clutch shots in the most crucial moments.
In addition, Isaiah Thomas will need to play the role of Robin to Evan Turner's Batman. IT will need to be the second big go to scorer.
Olynyk and Jerebko need to average 3 three point shots made per game each.
Jae Crowder needs to come up with big defensive and hustle plays.
And like FL said, we need to play perfect defense.
Major homer here, but I think we could surprise some, including Celtics fans.
