Lately I been hearing rumors about Boston sending Green to Charlotte, and in return getting Clevelands 1st, Waiters and MKG with Cleveland getting Biyombo, possibly a 3rd team like Memphis or Denver for Koufos, or a pick from either of those teams coming to the Celtics.
THEN maybe Avery Bradley to the suns for Thomas?
So many names and confusion being thrown out so what do you think will happen with these deals?
My take is I'd like them a lot because you'd get fair value for Green and Smart is nowhere near ready to start. Hes like a bigger Lowry type pg. He will take time, hes not an instant giver. And Isaiah Thomas and Waiters in the backcourt looks awesome to me and the team STILL remains competitive.
So thoughts on all this.. TY.

So thoughts on all this.. TY. I'd gladly pull the trigger on that Green trade. I'm still really on MKG. Anything else we get is gravy. I'd also love to see us go after Thomas, but I think it would make more sense for both teams if the C's offered a big. I think an offer of Wright and our Philly pick would be a decent offer.

I'm not crazy about Thomas, he's too short. I know he gets steals but overall his defense will never be really good. Thomas is one of those addition by subtraction guys like Gay.

I'm not all that crazy about trading for Thomas either. I say stick with Smart till he is ready. We also have Nelson and Pressey for now. As Fresh said, he's a liability on defense because of his size. I think Danny would be dangling Bass and Green to make room for the younger guys rather than Avery. I've also heard that Wright may be on the move again also, although I like him.

Sure, being as small as he is makes him a liability at times on D, but it seems like there are few PGs in the league today that can punish a smaller player in the paint the way a guy like Gary Payton could. And the dude is great pest on D, and is super quick so he can get around a pick like nobody's business. And his salary is pretty reasonable for the production he can bring.
