nesn.com/2014/10/paul-pierce-i-cant-stand-lebron-james-other-young-nba-stars/Still gotta love this attitude. Rondo isn't the nicest guy on the planet either. Too much political correctness these days anyways. You play to win the game. Like pierce says alot of these guys came up together. They play together in the summer and join up and create teams together. Different game now. I don't like it so much. I also think it's making the game worse. It's why San Antonio beat the heat. They are the last team that ahs really stuck together through thick and thin and chemisty is still important. It made San Antonio just a stronger team and more intelligent team over the heat whether they had the talent or not of a team like that. Lebron was supposed to be the most talented player on the planet and is so much better than duncan according to some. But eh... It's why Pierce has always been underrated as well. Loyal guy. Plays to win and beat his opponent. KG was the same thing. Too much fair weather stuff these days. Thing is the comments underneath from young people doesn't make me believe otherwise either. Just something they don't understand. I'm not saying be stupid about things but some people are skittish to a fault as well. Pierce stuck it out here and it paid off in the long run. Thing is the guy still has legs and still can bring a lot to a team. Pierce is still a dangerous player in the league because of who he is.

Pierce still stuck it out even though the Celtics had some poor ownership and management for a while. Bill Russell on the other hand won 11 rings. Lebron will never do that I don't care how good people think he is. Russell did it with the same team. That takes something else.
I hope the C's can find a way where they can stick with their ideals and create something and build something vs becoming like every other team in the nba.
I think that goes for all sports too. Watching the cowboys this year they are like a throwback of sorts and have gotten back to more disciplined approach. That is more remiscient of older teams but they still can't hold a candle to those old teams. It reminds me of that at times but other times it's a bunch of individuals trying to get their numbers.
Romo, Dez these guys have their moments where it's like they know where the other guy is going to be without even thinking and are like a well oiled machine but other times not so much. Basketball is the same way. So is football now. It's become so simplified and like madden football where that savvy and fundamentals and just whatever it is is lacking. That stuff takes time to develop. The rules have changed too. Players are concerned about their contracts and everything in between and it's more about the individual vs the team.
For a player to become a vet and get that savvy is one thing. But for the whole team to get it together is something else. The cowboys are having their moments this year but it's still not the same. The royals are in a different spot. Young team who came up together. This is their year or else in wa ys. Because there is too much concern about losing so and so and guys going onto greener pastures etc.
That stuff shouldn't be imo. These guys make a ton of money. They should be able to stick things out and not get greedy. To LeBron he will twist that as slavery or something when it's more his loss. It's just greedy on his part. . He also lost to tim Duncan because Duncan was a stronger and smarter player.
