So we are now at 15 and only 12 can be on the active roster, meaning at any given time, 3 players will not be suited up to play. Right now, Tony Allen and Marcus Banks would be 2 of the 3 on the inactive roster. I'd think that Gerald Green would be the 3rd guy. It is consistent with my Eyes of Quiniela preseason take. Allen and Banks are injured, while Gerald Green heads to the NBDL. One through 12, the Celtics offer a nice blend of athleticism, along with the ability to do everthing well. But aside from Pierce, there are no distinguished players, though Al Jefferson could be that 2nd wheel that makes the 21st century Green Machine go.

Herald mentions that Doc is probably going to narrow his rotation to about 8 players, and they estimate it to be Raef, Blount, Pierce, Ricky, Delonte, Orien, Scalabrine, Jefferson, and possibly Ryan Gomes. That leaves Perkins, Reed, and Dickau as the guys who will be trying to get into the regular rotation.
