Ainge is looking to get the 8th pick from SAC.
I'd trade the 17th pick and something else for the 8th.

This is a good deal if we have to trade rondo. Still hoping for more though. But it's a good in between. If we get vonleh or embiid or Exum plus Gordon, smart, mcnuggets or harris i'll be happy with that. But still hate trading rondo. don't do it danny. Say it ain't so..

If we get Embiid and he is a beast all is well. If he busts that's still not good. I'd still take Embiid if he's there over Exum I think of potential sliders, although not sure on that one. Take Embiid. Vonleh is good too. With the 8th pick Gordon, Smart, Mcnuggets, Harris.
At least we'd have protection in picks and getting Embiid who was supposed to be the #1 pick to start a rebuild is pretty darn good. Worth a gamble in that regard.
Jeff Green would also be traded here.
