A Sherrod's latest mock draft

just going through the draft on csn right now.

1. Wiggins (Cle)
2. Jabari Parker (Mil)
3. Exum (Phi)
4. Vonleh (Orl)
5. Randle (Utah)
6. Joel Embiid (Bos)

Very very interesting. He went through his rational why it all made sense and it sort of did.

his rational was that Cleveland is going to take Wiggins because he's the best player available now. Milwaulkee parker will go #2 for the same reason. Philly will take exum because of his connection with their coach. Orlando will take Vonleh because he's the riser in this draft. Utah will look hard at Embiid but will ultimately go with the guy they've wanted all along which is randle. Danny will take Embiid.

Things are starting to get good though... We aren't at johnny most go crazy levels yet but definitely getting interesting.

If the draft falls as such I would probably put Embiid ahead of smart or Gordon at this point. my rankings are always changing though. some of these guys are overhyped. Smart slides down my board sometimes and I see him like an overglorified mark Jackson sometimes. Gordon is the same thing. More roleplayers with some elite talent. Embiid we might have to wait on and isn't he 2nd coming but I'd take a guy who has a chance to be a very good center over those guys.

If NBA team scouts are scouting these guys based on upside and situation what A Sherrod said there makes sense. Vonleh has some pretty serious upside over guys like Gordon and Smart because he's a big. Exum does as well. Always felt like Utah the guy they should take is randle. Wiggins and Parker 1 and 2 now makes some sense. Philly could use a scorer.

We don't want to draft a bust though. Embiid better get checked out really good.

Love vs Embiid is something I can get excited about. I want this team to find some direction regardless. It's getting better. Although a bit scary at the same time lol.
