In for a workout today www.nbadraft.net/players/shabazz-napierSaved the best for last maybe. Napier is underrated and not sure why he is rated so low. He can shoot and pass and is a big game player. Maybe not as physically gifted as some of these other guys but with the pg spot sometimes players are found late. Can't measure a guys heart and Napier is one of those guys.

Good question. I don't even know why I don't have him on my top 20. But for sure in the 2nd, and especially if he's undrafted, I'd take a gamble on him.

I might even be interested in him at 17. I just dig this kid's heart and fearlessness. Plus, his fadeaway could be his signature move in the NBA.
I can definitely see him shining in a structured offense like Brad's.

I think poor man's Steph Curry. I wouldn't rate him that high.

A very poor man's Steph Curry. I'm more looking at their style of play more than production.

I kind of agree with Runner. I think he plays more like Kemba, but i havent seen enough of him, and you could be seeing something I'm not.
Players like this are longshots. He reminds me of a poor man's chris paul too but we could say that all day. He doesn't have the phsyical tools but understands the game. But getting PT, playing at that level in the pros is a longshot. Not saying he can't surprise either. But shabazz is a longshot percentage wise. Players like this usually don't make it.

He could be a solid roleplayer. Or he could surprise a lot of people or be out of the league in a couple years. He'll probably go late first or in the 2nd round. I like how he plays though. He's got game regardless. He doesn't have the physical tools is all. Maybe more geared towards the college level. But who knows.

It's like saying Jajuan johnson is Kevin Garnett. They play similar. But not really. Watching that vid of paul and napier you can tell their games are similar. Hard to tell who is who sometimes. But Chris Paul you can also tell is much more physically gifted and geared towards the NBA. Napier looks pretty polished though and like a smart kid. He plays defense too.
Another gamble on a player that could be a wasted pick. could turn out. Ainge has made picks like this in the past. JJ was one of these. But they usually bust. Napier could be decent. If we take Embiid and napier i'd be a bit scratching my head though. That's too many risks in ways. And Napier's upside isn't that great.
I'm sort of hoping Ainge has learned his lesson. I have.

Sometimes players are found like this so if ainge wants to take risks and draft embiid and napier go for it. Napier could be mike bibby for all we know right now. But the percentages say otherwise just to be aware.
