I'd actually draft after looking at their workours. Some good talents but this draft class is somewhat overhyped. Levine for example is an athletic player but he's an Austin rivers close and really needs to work on his defense before he can really contribute on a winning team at the next level. Vonleh is the same thing. Good player. I'm not seeing anyone in this draft who i'd go out of my way for though. He's Chris Bosh but raw and g oing to take a while. And could potentially not live up to his potential.
Parker, Wiggins, Embiid. All upper tier talents but no LeBron. Not players I want to build our future around really. Good players though.
McDermott has some really good qualities but again solid roleplayer. I think most of these guys you can see what you get. I don't knw what it is with some of these kids but they are somewhat cookie cutter. There is no real mystery about them. Ainge has been pretty straightforward with this draft all along. Good players potentially. What you see is what you get.
Marcus Smart is probably the best player where we are selecting. Aaron Gordon is there too. Depends on what Utah and Orlando do. Orlando takes Exum. Utah takes Vonleh or Randle. Utah isn't going to take Smart I don't think. Orlando could. So that leaves Smart or Gordon for our pick. Do you keep that or trade it for Love if you can? I think that's somewhat of a no brainer you trade that pick. I don't think we deal rondo unless things just aren't working there either. Smart could be that guy to replace him though. Smart and Gordon are really the only two players we should select.
Now that I've gotten to see the workouts myself it's pretty clear this draft is what it is. I could see us moving up for McDermott maybe. Gary Harris. I don't see us taking Levine. The rest of the players in this draft I don't see us taking. Chaz Williams or that center might be a selection in the 2nd round. We could take on eof the sf's if we deal Green and get McDermott somehow.
