The spurs are a very good team and lost a year ago and Miami became champs but I still think Lebron's legacy is somewhat overhyped. SA had that series in the bag in the final minutes. The series was over and they blew it. So far San Antonio is dominating Miami again so far minus some crucial mistakes in game 2. I don't know what It is but Miami doesn't make those mistakes like missing 4 free throws and blowing games. It's really in SA's court if they want it. They have to stop shooting themselves in the foot though.
I think the same goes for us. Wade, Lebron and bosh is not this unbeatable force that is going to last forever. Lebron is also not this unbeatable star. He has a good team around him with dwade and bosh and they are just as important.
players like Duncan, Ginobi and parker were not rated as top of the heap upper echelon players by the masses. Duncan was considered aging and washed up a few years ago. Parker was not rated even close to the top as far as pgs. Now they get that recognition because they started playing like it. Statistically they've never been seen as that though until they started getting to the finals again. They just are that good if they can make their free throws and stop shooting themselves in the foot.
Indiana was a train wreck at the end of the season. The east is weak. Miami really had no other competition besides an aging San Antonio team the past couple years who knows a thing or two about basketball.

It usually doesn't work out that way. The team that makes mistakes usually crumbles in the end in these scenarios but we will see. I still don't think Miami has been fully tested. SA turned up the heat and Lebron crumbled.
Give me a talented team with heart and that knows how to play and fits together well and is a smart team who knows how to play defense and play matchups and find the right guy at the right time and Miami will get beaten. Lebron will probably leave. Maybe never win again and I don't have to see it or listen to sportscenter telling me this and that that is some truth. He did win. But it's also a lot of hype.

I don't know if Love has that or Rondo but I think with the right pieces and if these guys are going to play hard and with heart a talented team in their prime could destroy them. SA is kind of older. These other teams are too young.
I hope Danny is watching and feels the same way because it's true. I know Rondo is. I bet he thinks he can beat them. Another reason to like Rondo. You have to believe you are that to become that.

Game 6 in last year's finals haunts me about as much as any non-Celtics related game in NBA history. They had that game wrapped up. They make their free throws and SA wins in 6.

It was our fault (Rondo's actually). If Rondo had not complained about Ray Allen's role, Ray wouldn't have been offended and felt unloved. Thus he woudn't have spurned us by going to Miami. Then in Game 6, Ray wouldn't have hit that unbelievable clutch three pointer at the closing of the game.

Miami loses this series we can go back to saying LeBron is overrated. knocking on wood though. I say this Miami is going to make a ridiculous comeback. So seriously I didn't just say that.
san Antonio can not blow games. please no....

It's over. Barring a colossal meltdown by the Spurs, I don't see the Heat winning 3 games in a row, including winning 2 at San Antonio.
More than anything about Lebron, this is about how superb the Spurs have been playing. Textbook execution and precision passing, and a great example of teamwork.

Man you can tell DWade is not the same player anymore. In the regular season it's not as noticeable because he sits so many games, but when there is no games off the playoffs he looks old. Crazy how a guy makes one decision when he's in college (remove miniscus instead of repairing it) and it changes the entire outlook of his career.

I just checked espn.com, and Wade is shooting 50% from the FG. Solid.

I don't think he'll ever loose that as long as LeBron takes most of the attention from other teams. It's just a bummer for Wade that he doesn't have that ability to dominate off the dribble like he used to. Or on defense for that matter. Age can be real jerk.

I think that is a good point about FG% that your teammates factor into that. My take is that Wade can not sell running into the paint, taking a wildly contested shot, then holding up his arms in protest anymore.
