Fresh was the one who brought it to my attention awhile back, but I still find lots of fans from different sites thinking we could get the 4th pick, even though we absolutely cannot get it.
Here's why:
We have the 5th worst record in the league, which means 4 other teams are worse than us, and they sit in front of us in the order.
If the lottery falls our way, we could land a top 3 pick. But if we don't, the very first pick we can have is the 5th. Why? Because again, 4 teams in front of us have a worse record than us.
MIL
PHI
ORL
UTA
BOS
Say PHI, ORL, and UTA get the first 3 picks -- that means MIL will get the 4th.
Just thought I'd clarify this so we Greeniacs don't make this mistake.
