Reminds me of us the past few years. Could have had the last game and played hard but not quite enough. Now a 3-1 lead and they have this game if they sustain it, but wishful thinking in game 6 and 7. Williams, Johnson, Pierce, Kirelenko and KG is a good lineup though. Pierce' s legs look fresher. JJ is playing really well for them as that number 1 option but can they string together enough wins.
Makes me think it doesn't hurt to keep players and string things out if you can put the right pieces around guys like that. there is always going to be young talent coming in. I wouldn't have minded watching Pierce and KG for a few more years.
RayRay going to the heat is a bit much but what can you do.

There is a trend of teams slowing it down running time trying to hang on at the end of games only to lose. The clippers did it last night and now the nets. Gotta listen to tommy and shove it down the opposing teams throat but play smart. Some good battles by these teams the last few but not enough.

terrible calls as well by the officials. Lebron fouls him and it doesn't even go off pierce.

replay worked this time. LeBron clearly fouled him and it should be brooklyns ball. Pierc e should be at the line though.
