Seems like the Warriors lost all their coaches this season. Scalabrine was fired, another quit (and we picked him up), and now the Warriors fire Mark Jackson.
I hope GS can get a good coach because I'm rooting for them to win.

I wish Scal was fired so he could come back to Boston.
Brian Scalabrine has been reassigned: This on its own reflects some sort of disagreement between Jackson and the management about what should be happening with the team: management intends to keep Scalabrine with the organization despite the coach wanting him reassigned.

I think Jackson was fired, because of his inability to get along w/ management, including the owners. We may never know what exactly happened, but when one coach gets reassigned, another coach is fired for tape recording conversations, and there were some other rumors in between, like isolating previous assistant coach Malone, and isolating Jerry West, something wasn't right w/ the direction of the team.

Jackson is pretty low on my list of ex-NBAers after I read about his attempts to turn the Jazz players against Stockton in his final season. You don't mess with Stockton, man. You just don't.
The shame of it is I liked him as a player. Dude was able to play a long time with limited physical skills.

I didn't like him as a player. Way too boring for my taste. He and Andre Miller both.

Ugh, I was outraged at that trade. I remember Pitino saying something along the lines of, "We already have enough young talent." Dude must've been looking at a different roster than the one I was watching stink up the court on a regular basis.

Every time I see Andre Miller's name, I have flashbacks to when Pitino was the head coach/GM of BOS.
