Rondo did a lot of talking this season about his relationship with noah. might be a minor deal but if we draft and get a player like noah id be happy with that.
im trying to think of players in the league that ainge could trade for that could actually help us.
love noah gasol curry melo asik Monroe cousins
id cross a few of those guys off the list too. there aren't very many. there are a lot of players in th eleague though. but not many players that could help us win a championship?
I don't see why the bulls would move noah either unless they want to rebuild. noah is that team sans rose. doesn't seem like they are giving up on rose yet.

I'd love to see Noah in a Celtics jersey, but he is going nowhere. Chicago will not part with him, and he seems to like it there. It's incredible how much he has improved his game over the years.

ainge has basically gone on record saying there are things he'd like to do but they have to be good deals. he has also said the kg, ray and pierce situation was luck in ways because at the time they fit so well and everything worked out that way. this time is different. there are only so many moves he can make that are good deals though. I just wonder what these moves are that he'd like to do. there are not many players in the nba that can actually help us vs us spinning our wheels.

I agree with you. Unless Chicago is giving up and wants to rebuild they wont move him. they are still building with noah and praying that rose can be healthy someday.

there is no other way for us to build except through the draft. It's love or that. Either rondo sticks around for the rebuild or is traded.
Wyc is talking about drawing a big time player. Ainge says there are things he wants to do. Wyc loves rondo and thinks hes come a long way. Either he is gone or we build through the draft or make a move somewhere. Realistically speaking ainge isn't that stupid to just talk about hypotheticals without knowing the landscape of the league.
there is no one we can trade for who would help us win a championship except one guy. Wyc says he thinks the Celtics are in position to add a big piece.
It's either baloney or it's not.

I have a love/hate relationship with Noah. I hate him whenever we have to play him but I'd love to see him on the Celtics. The guy has one gear - all out. He's the defensive player of the year and just what the Celtics need. BUT, Chicago is never going to let him go as long as they have Rose and plan to compete. I don't see anyone that we could trade that would make them give him up, either.

Noah would be good to have, but nope, he ain't coming to Boston. Chicago won't let him go, and I don't see him eager to jump into our situation (unless our fotunes vastly change this offseason).
