Being at the game the other night I was kind of shocked how distracting the jumbotron was. when i was younger i didnt mind it so much. maybe I'm getting old. I get trying to make it about the fans. But we had really good seats and that huge screen over the court really takes your eyes off the game itself. I found my eyes switching back and forth the entire game and even when i wanted to just focus on the game it was still distracting.
The sox and patriots more have screens at the end of the field or up in the outfield. It's much better. The td garden that thing is freaking distracting and I think I hate it actually. If I could remove it I would. I know it's not c ool to be a hater these days and all but who cares lol. i think i really hate it.
I'd rather focus on the game itself. It's this look at me generation and I know it's fun and entertainment but that's not what the celtics used to be about.
The cowboys have that huge screen hanging over texas stadium as well. I much prefer actually going to games as fenway and gillette for this reason. Not a huge fan of the td garden. I'd rather watch the game on tv in ways if that's how it is.

Have tickets gotten cheaper now that the C's are bad? That has been one plus about the TWolves being as bad as they have. Towards the end of the year you can get primo seats for fairly cheap.

all in all though the td garden kind of sucks. it was bad when it was the fleetcenter too. Another Paul Gaston debacle and all that's left from that era. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a huge billion dollar pile of cement that can't be removed so easily and isn't that old either.
The crowd was a bunch of rich hipster kids and Hollywood wives and the jumbotron is distracting. Jojo white I noticed walk in and I don't even think the fans knew who he was. I might as well have been at a laker game. Fenway and Gillette are much better.
The guy in front of me was a bulls fan and stood up and did this arm wave and looked like a (censored) trying to be cool with his girlfriend. If you can imagine. his girlfriend was hot and told him to sit down at least lol.
The best part of the whole arena is they still have the train station underneath and that area is pretty cool and the food is cheap. Plus the Celtics play there obviously.
