Which team in the Eastern Conference has surprised you the most so far this season?

Surprised in a good or bad way? In a good way it would be the Raptors who are playing very well and coming together talent-wise. In a bad way...its a toss up between the Cavs or the Pistons.

As for bad surprises, I'd say Nets. I never would've guessed they'd be below .500 this late in the year. Or that the Knicks would be 8 games below .500 at this time. I'd say Philly is slightly better than I thought they'd be. I definitely thought they'd easily lose 60+ games. That lineup is so thin. But they've stayed fairly healthy and some of their younger guys have handed the extra PT better than I thought they would.

TOR for the good. Traded Bargnani, and Gay.
NY for the bad. Basically the same team as last year that won 50+ games.

Toronto is also my pick. It surprises me to see them playing well after trading Rudy Gay away. DeMar Derozan has climbed into another level, Terrence Ross has been playing well, and they are jelling together nicely.
Brooklyn and New York are two of the bad surprises this year.
