I read on a different board that it'll be on Directv's League Pass. The League Pass in my area isn't from Directv, so its not going to be shown.
Lets us know if you get to catch the game and give us some meaty info if you get the chance.

Yeah, game is alredy on the second quarter. I was looking on NBA.com and they haven't even started the stats for this game yet. So I went to Yahoo sports and sure enough the game is already on. I went to a different message board to see if anyone else is talking about the game and one poster said that Dan Dickau and Justin Reed is impressing him. Dickau for his passing ability and Reed for being everyone on the court.

Half just ended. Yeah Reed is very active and is showing why the C's are raving about his defense. Came into the game and immediately swiped the ball, then made a nice block. His offense didnt look that great though. The second unit in general really struggled to put the ball in the basket. Scalabrine looked more like Scalabrick. Had several open looks that Dickau found him for but couldnt knock it down. I still dont understand why we gave Scalabrine 15 mil. Borchardt got time Im assuming because of Jefferson's injury. If he makes this team, then Danny just likes white guys way too much. Perk looked good and aggressive ont he boards, although he still got in foul trouble. Dickau looked good. West looked good. The two guys that really impressed imo are the two guys that everyone wants to trade. Pierce and Blount looked very solid. Pierce has his usual preseason haircut that makes him look thinner but he actually does look more slimmed down that normal this time and very quick plus he is out and running. Banks a DNP. Same with Green so far... Gomes got in there and looked aggressive but couldnt get anything to fall. He was part of that second unit that really struggled offensively with Dickau, Reed, Scalabrine and Borchardt. We really had noone in that could score outside of Gomes and Dickau and they were more trying to just fit in rather than trying to score.

Thank you very much, CF. This is a big help.
I guess we'll see the other guys in the second half.

Game over. C's lose by 10. Reed is going to make the team. Perk was a monster on the boards. Had like 9 boards in as many minutes... Pierce looked good. Ricky wasnt really in the game offensively but looked pretty good on the defensive end. I dont see why we need to make a trade. We get Allen and Jefferson back and we are 14 deep.
West Dickau Banks Pierce Ricky Reed Allen Gomes Green Jefferson Scalabrine Raef Blount Perk

I watched the game on FSN tonight, and here are my first impressions:
1. Pierce does look better physically, thinned down, and in better shape then previous seasons. 2. Blonut actually looked like he was playing hard, and was very serviceable tonight. Not sure exactly what his stats were, but I think they were something like, 12-6. 3. Dickau is about what everyone expected....a good shooter, good passer, especially one of his feeds to Pierce in the lane, and a very heady player. 4. Marcus played well in limited time tonight. Came up with a couple of steals and a few easy buckets, albeit against 3 tier players. 5. The Celtics need some consistency out of the second unit. Doc may be forced to use Ricky as a 6th man again, simply out of necessity.
These are just a few of my early takes. However, after just one preseason game we all need to make sure we don't get too excited about any one player too much, or to down on anything. There is plenty of time to improve, which is a blessing for the Celtics with so many new faces and young guys.

Taking a look at the box score, P2 had a great game. And Perks, 9 boards. However, Scabrine, 2-11. Ouch!

I don't think you worry about Scala's shooting boots just yet, if he plays like this all preaseason yeah, but its only one game. Glad to hear Blonut and Dickau playing okay.

Well, we didn't win, but no biggie. I"ve been reading some other message boards and its crazy listening to some of these fans. Some of them are ready to send Gomes to the european league, some think Delonte is overrated, some are ready to slash Scalabrine's throat, etc. Even as critical as I am on certain players, I wouldn't base so much on the first preseason game of the year.
For one, we have so many new players being asked to play bigger roles. Perkins, Gomes, Reed, Dickau, Scalabrine, and Borchardt range from having little to no experience playing with this team.
Secondly, we didn't have Al Jefferson, our only low post player. Without a post player, we could only resort to playing the perimeter.
Fans need to be a bit more loose about these early preseason games. This is the time when we need to work things out and find a groove. Finding the right combinations and getting a feel for one another takes time--especially on this team where so many players (11, to be exact) have 3 years or less being in a Celtics uniform.

Here's another thing: the 3 new players on the team who played tonight shot the ball poorly. Dickau was 2 - 7, Scalabrine was 2 - 11, and Gomes was 1 - 6 (I'm not sure if Gerald Green got into the game. Yahoo sports does not list him as having played, but I've read otherwise on other boards). Could this be a case of them not feeling at home in the offense yet? Could it be that they are still trying to get a feel for their teammates and where their shots will come from? I think so. If these 3 collectively shot better, we may not have lost the game. But I'm willing to bet that they won't continue shooting this poorly.
