First games of the preseason happened today. Cleveland took on Washington and Miami took on the San Antonio.
The Cavs beat the Wizards, 116 - 94. Both Lebron and Drew Gooden scored 16 pts apiece.
The Spurs lost the game in the 4th quarter to the Heat. Duncan had 16 pts and 10 boards. Shaq had 17 pts, but the leading scorer for Miami was Antoine Walker. He put up 20 pts, 2 rebs, and 1 assts (but 4 TO's). To me this is amazing--on a team with 2 bonafide All-World players (Shaq and Dwayne Wade), its Walker who attempted the most shot attempts.
We are going to take on the Cavs tomorrow and I hope to see a lot of positives. Jefferson and Tony Allen won't be playing, but I hope the other young kids show good things.
