Here's the thing--no matter how much Pierce supporters hate these rumors surfacing (and there has been a lot this summer), all signs indicate that Ainge has been shopping Pierce around. You can't take Ainge's words at face value because he will lie out of his teeth. He doesn't do it to be a worm (or in Toine's words, a snake). He lies to conceal his hand as much as possible. He has to lie about not shopping Pierce. It would be too detrimental to the unity of the team if Pierce finds out from Ainge himself that he is being shopped.
There are just too many people in the know who have been speculating that Pierce is on the market, and we can't just look at it as if they are making these rumors up.
There are a lot of Pierce fans, and those who aren't so high on Pierce. But the supporters who think the Pierce haters are insane for wanting to trade Pierce away need to be reminded that Ainge is thinking about moving Pierce also.

No, not only Vescey this time. Lot more sources are coming out and stating that something could happen. West coast and east coast team officials are saying the same thing. A trade with the Clippers may not happen, but its looking more and more like Ainge is indeed seeing what he can get for Pierce.

I guess anything is possible at this time. From what the rumors are saying, Doc is asking Ainge to move Pierce.

I won't be a fan of this trade unless Livingston is involved. Pierce and Banks for Maggete and Livingston works for me, but will it work for the Clipps? Prolly not, they seem to love Shaun.

One source I read on Hoopshype said that if Livingston was included in the deal, the trade would have already been made. I think Ainge is holding out for Livingston and if he's not included, the trade won't go down. Ainge is playing hardball and lets see if the Clippers will crumble.
What would you guys give to get Livingston, on top of trading Pierce? Blount and Banks won't cut it--they'll ask for more.
