I may be the only male in the US age 30 and above who doesn't play video games. I guess cause I was never good at it. I mean, yeah, I passed Super Mario with ease, and I barely passed Metroid, and the Legend of Zelda and Link weren't too hard either, and Contra was simple once you added the ton of extra life (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start) -- but I never finished Mike Tyson's Punchout, and some of the other games I played as a junior high schooler. Even Street Fighter II, I had no idea what I was doing. I was just randomly pressing buttons.
In high school, I played baseball on play station, and that's about it.
I've never gotten into madden or basketball games.

I would be the same way Derren if i were married. I should be buying this stuff for my kids at this point. These new games are really good though. It's basically just another form of entertainment at this point and a way to kill time.
That's why i sold my old stuff too. It basically paid for itself. I can only play so many games. I dont really watch tv outside the celtics so its a fun hobby in ways.

sadly im that way too DM. I don't ever play video games since my job keeps me so busy that by the time I come home, the last thing I want to do is look at a computer screen again.

Maybe if I was good at it, I'd have reason to play. But I spent my free time messing around with the guitar, spending time with GOD and church things, playing sports, and coming here  Yeah, now that I'm married and have a baby, its even less likely ill pick up video games. But I have friends who are married, have kids, have careers, and they still play video games. I guess to each his own, as long as adults are being responsible (though some adults have called in sick to play video games). |

I play the guitar too. Videogames are basically the same thing to me. A hoppy. I'm out still playing sports at my old age too. Not as easy as it once was so i play videogames to get my fix. I could always try golfing i suppose but that's pretty expensive. It's more fun beating up on the kids at the playground in basketball anyways and it's free.
