I find it more difficult myself. I'd rather talk to people in person. Thinking about just shutting it off in general but everyone uses it. My life was great until the internet came along lol. I wouldn't trade my life for anyone's. i'm feeling like doing this just f'd with it. Ended up in a long distance relationship that nearly destroyed me and ended up on the internet because I was bored. never thought that would happen either. Just innocently fell in love with someone who was telling em all the righ things. long story but it (censored) up her life too. I'm feeling like I should have stayed away. how dare someone talk so much and be so socialThe internet is too restrictive. I see it in people these days too on the streets with their iphones. They are like zombies with no personality or character. People growing up to me were much different.
. I'm not even a social butterfly either that's the thing. I don't think I ever had anyone say I talk too much in reality or have an issue with me that's the weird thing to me. Over the internet it's something else. I say the same things too but usually people know how I say it.
This board has been really great for the most part. I know you guys are all decent people. I've been other places too though and there are a lot of a-holes on the internet too and it's just rubbed me the wrong way. It's not you guys overly. I tend to think people just have their opinions and it's not really worth trying to fit in. I'm going to say something eventually anyways and I know it. I'm not overly going to change myself at this point. I feel like I should just shut it off. most people I know say they don't even really use it and that's the best thing to do. Thing is most people do use the internet to communicate these days.
I think i'd rather talk to my friends and brother in law and nephews about sports anyways. I can only take this stuf that seriously after what I went through. People can really suck sometimes and I can only blame myself so much.
The internet seemed great. Thing Is I don't want to be closed off either. The internet can be good but not sure how much I've really gained from it.

Just watching tnt right now and AI is talking about practice and these are things I see sometimes and just thoughts I like to put out there. Never been someone who takes this stuff that seriously. AI was a great player. People will disagree and just won't like him but still always liked AI as a player for some reason. This is what I do though. I'm just watching tv and on the computer and thoughts happen.
This has always been something I do in my spare time when i'm at work or at home watching tv since about 2006 when the internet really took off. my life hasn't gotten better in that time. I think 7 years is enough.
I'm more just me and i'm know i'm not changing and if it's annoying to you I need to stop as well. It's probably better for everyone involved.

I agree the constant looking at iphones needs to be rethought. It's refreshing to see people eating a dinner or lunch without everyone looking at their iphones the whole time. It's good to step back every once in a while.

Cool man. Thing is I feel bad. Derren drives me nuts with the wiggisn stuff but it's not really his fault either. I think the internet in general is just people throwing ideas out there and it becomes one big clusterfuck. at least for me. this board is better than most. people here have been really good for the most part and tried at times to see where i'm coming from without it getting stupid. thing is i'm not overly going to change either. people in person say I need to talk more and are really supportive to me. people on the internet say I need to talk less. I've given up trying to please people lol. playing basketball to me was also just fun and goofing around. I was playing basketball the other week with my bro in law and we were just goofing around with his nephews "there's the steal by bird, underneath to dj, lays it up and in. Oh my this place is going crazy!"... one of my favorite Celtics games I ever saw live was a triple overtime game where rick fox hit a game winning 3. I lke to think this area is about more than just winning and losing. I read articles on the internet about how people are supposed to think and it just rubs me the wrong way. when the Celtics had their bad year people were calling for oden. I've never been like that. Wiggins might be a different case and I get it but i'm still going to be like that. people say turn left. I go right on the internet. people say the red sox are going to lose. they win. Most of my friends when i talk about that stuff they get it. This area and people in general are weird that way. the Celtics this year they've removed the old broadcast booth and put in a more positive one to kind of give this season a more positive feel imo because it's probably going to be a tough year but i'm still just gong to enjoy it. I get I talk too much and it's not the best for converstation but i'm also just thinking it's time to move on from this stuff in ways. The internet in general has been fun but it's also affected my life in negative ways and when it gets to that point it's not overly worth it.

that's the thing to me eja. I've always kind of seen the internet as aplace to just say what you think and not care overly but that doesn't work as far as discussion is concerned. I also shouldnt say i don't care because i think i put a lot of thought into some things i say but it seems to me like people just write articles and say things without thinking things through. So why bother showing people that respect when they don't show it themselves.. people are always going to say shushu me included lol. i'm the same way in person for the most part. In person people get it. thing is there are always going to be people out there I don't like overly either and it's usually best to just stay away from those people. this board I like you guys for the most part. I don't know you in person and see it that way though. other boards there are people i'd punch in the face if I could which would be bad so I don't even go there anymore.

Rick Fox was a Celtics legend as far as i'm concerned. joe Kleine. Me and my friends used to joke around at work about those guys and they get what i'm saying. my friend we used to call him carlos Quintana when Quintana was supposedly the next great red sox 1st baseman. That stuff is just funny.
