Qyntel Woods waived (try saying that three times really fast).
He was not available for picture day on Monday, and Ainge said the reason for that is because he waived him. No surprise here, we all knew it was going to happen.
So we now have 17 contracts on the roster. 2 more to let go.

THe biggest question is, how does this effect the Boston Celtics Fire Sale 2k5 (patent pending)?

So just 2 more to go. Since we have 5 PG's, its fathomable that we let go at least one of them. Borchardt is likely another solid pick.

Though I would have liked to see what Bynum could have done on our team, the most likely options to be cut are the one's you've mentioned BC.

And once were down to fifteen, doesnt one of them have to go to the NBDL? I thought i read that we could have a max of 14 guys dressed for a game.
I confused.
I could def. see Banks getting before the season starts. You havent heard much about him recently, and that might be a bad thing for Banks. And like my pal Floyd the Executioner said to me, "Fresh, in my line of work, no noose is is bad noose!"
Pun Fever. Catch it today!

Yep, 14 guys on the active roster. But because Tony Allen will probably be on the inactive roster at the start of the season (due to his recovery from surgery), we can postpone making that final cut, if there will be one. We can always keep 15 players on the roster--its just that we'll have to put 1 player on the inactive list, which negates him from suiting up and playing.

Though I would have liked to see what Bynum could have done on our team, the most likely options to be cut are the one's you've mentioned BC. These are the ones I've often envisioned to be cut also. And about the 15 player rule with 1 inactive player (Allens case due to being hurt) maybe for a short time, they will see how well Bynum does until Allen comes back then maybe they can make the final cut when Allen returns to the roster. That also works in their favor. I see Borchardt surely being the next cut though. Bynum will be a tougher decision plus the fact he won't get cut for the time being if Allen is still inactive when the season starts.

It will be interesting to see what happens if Bynum plays unbelievably well this training camp and preseason (it wouldn't surprise if he does).

Ainge keeps him and packages Banks with Reed to get a good pf perhaps.
