I think randle has potential to be an amare type talent or even pierce. Pierce really worked on his defense. Amare had some good defensive years but struggled with consistency there. Time will tell with any of these guys. I think randle's motor never stops on the offensive end of the floor. Defensively he is also active. It's more an awareness thing at times. He reminds me of rondo defensively where he wi ll gamble and be caught out of position sometimes and doesn't stay with his man.
His mental makeup reminds me more of rondo. Or even a guy like Pierce. I think Smart is more in your face and has a flare to him like KG or Noah even or mark jackson. Baron Davis too. And Baron Davis got lazy. Or even Antoine walker. It's difficult to tell with these guys at this stage.
Rondo and Pierce were underdeveloped in college. They really took off in the pros and Randle could do the same. Both Pierce and rondo slid in the draft and Randle could do the same.
