A guy from CelticsStuff, who went to the annual season ticket holders picnic, posted that he had a talk with Wyc Grousebeck, and Wyc said that both Orien and Bynum had little chance to make the team now that Dan Dickau is here.
Not sure if I can believe this one until it happens. I find it hard to believe that Wyc would disclose this kind of information to anyone.

He could mean the active roster, as in NBDL for one or both. I also find it a little hard to believe DA and Doc would be satisfied with what they have at the position

That's a possibility as well. I'd like to hope that at least Orien Greene will remain with the team. Wyc also mentioned that Orien was recovered from his surgery and has been working out--but said that he could beat Orien on some stationery bike timing exercise thing. From the sounds of what the guy posted, it seemed as though Wyc wasn't too keen on Orien's recovery.

Yea, Orien seems like a good steal for 53. Not as good as Gomes at all but good enough to at least keep him for now so I don't believe it right now.
