In Hoopshype rumor section today, they mentioned that there was a Boston/Memphis trade proposal that the Grizzlies turned down. It was Gerald Green and Blount for Lo-Wright. Memphis reportedly turned it down because of Mark Blount's trade kicker.
I seriously hope that Ainge did not offer this up as a real offer. I hope it was just a feeler type of offer to see what it would take for Memphis to take Blount of our hands.

Only thing that matters to me is that this trade never happen. Not to mention seems like a homer trade rumor to me.

With Ainge and Doc virtually dancing in the streets after Green slipped to us, I can't imagine Ainge offering Green up in a trade. Like most trade rumors, I doubt there ever was anything to it. I'd say even less likely than the Pierce for Nene and Miller rumor.

Well, I think there's some meat behind some of the talks between us and Memphis, but I think it was centered around Ainge trying to go after Pau Gasol (the only guy on Memphis' roster whom we know Ainge has an interest in). I also have a hard time believing that Ainge would offer up Green after practically stealing him in the draft.
