So 14 can be active. Does that mean that the other could be with the NBDL?
I assume that the 14 is not an absolute. 2 could be in Florida?

That bit about Borchardt got me to wondering. Doc indicated that keeping 6 bigs could be an option. I think the early read is that none of the guys is auditioning for the Yogi Stewart role.
If they all ahve their head in the game, and bang and play defense and re bound, it could be very interesting. With that number of big guys, couldl use them off the bench like storm troopers.
Although the evolution of the season will bring about a rotation around 9.

Ferbo, I'm pretty sure that whoever you send to the NBDL will be counted in the active roster.
CF, I'm getting a feeling that Doc will be highly tempted to use Delonte and Dickau in the backcourt while Tony Allen is out. If not, it'll probably be Gomes at SF, Pierce at SG, and Dickau starting. Though Dickau is not a defensive PG, because we have Marcus Banks on the bench, Rivers can bring him in if Dickau is giving up too many points.

I think Doc is going to use a combination of West and Banks off the bench and Dickau will be the starter. Im liking our pgs and depth all around. This sounds like the plan to me. Dickau can also be our pg of the next 3 years or future too just incase West is hurt a lot. He was a damn good insurance policy for that reason. Ainge knew he needed good insurance incase West folded up again.
