even with ec l still think this team does not make the playoff whos going to rebound! whos there lineup I disagree, you cant underestimate the brillance of coach brown. The guy is worth 8-10 wins easily. They still have and explosive backcourt, they added jerome james, now curry, and they have channing fry who i feel is way too soft buy he should be able to pound the boards. Back to brown, wacth how the knicks play defense know, it will be a totally different mentality than prior years. And all of those close losses the knicks used to have will turn into wins because of brown's preperation, and attention to detail. I expect the knicks to contend for a playoff position. We cant afford to sleep on them.

Ossric, if Isaiah is spending over 120 million in annual salaries and not producing, the city of New York will have his head.

Not a big gamble on Isaiah's part. T Thomas had one of thw worst contracts in basketball. Even though I despise Curry's work ethic, I would rather have him and baggage than Thomas.

The gamble on Isaiah's part is him giving Curry a 5 year deal. Sure he lost nothing in this deal (I agree that they got the better end of the deal), but to offer a guy with a questional heart/health issue such a hefty and lengthy contract is definitely a gamble.

Not to mention giving a player with a very questionable work ethic a long term deal can often spell disaster. I can just imagine him and Benoit Benjamin hanging out somewhere after he signed the deal, playing MarioKart and eating frosting straight out of the container. "Can you believe it Double B? I aint gotta try hard ever again! Now let me be Yoshi and lets start the race!"

Damn what a trade. I say nobody won it. Chicago coulda let him go for nothing rather than getting crap like TT though. Bulls fans I bet are not happy. This forces them to use TT at pf which he is not good at because Deng will probably start. Sweetney is also in there also who will want pt. Or will they plan to use TT as a 6th man? It would be smart to I would think because when TT eats minutes, he never wins for a team. NY did something stupid though. Isiah spend a boatload on Jerome James let alone Curry? WTF is this? Jerome James was such a pointless signing if they were gonna do this. Will a big 40m contract like that just rot on the bench now? Sounds like a Blount or worse. Eddy was such a gamble. But Chicago really shoulda kept Antonio seeing that has 1 more year on it. Now the bulls can't free too much cap space up.

i sorta see Sweetney as what tractor traylor might have been if he hadn't eaten himself practically out of the league. he's a good rebounder, but he's a waaaaaaayyys off from being an elton brand type. he's short and overweight. I wouldn't want him as anything but a backup making a small contract. That's what i love about our team. Almost the whole roster I look at and think "he could start." A team full of players good enough to start is a damn good team. So now it's just a matter of maturity and chemistry. that's why I want PP gone. No maturity and bad for chemistry. At this point Ricky Davis is more mature that PP cause he's been less selfish.

With Sweetney, its about his aggressiveness. I think the guy has a boatload of talent, but he doesn't always look to kill. He needs that attitude in order to bring the best out of him.
