There is a possible s&t rumor with him going to the knicks. Unfortunately, I couldn't read it because it was a damn insider article. I hate ESPN insider. Its like show the F'N stories.

there's no way paxson trades curry to nyk. two big reasons for that: 1. eastern conference, 2. nyk has NOBODY that chicago would want

I think in the end Eddie Curry will sign with chicago for the qualifying offer (5.1 mil per) for 1 year. Then he'll go test free agent market next season.

Right CF00. Might as well hope for Blount rather than blow a new investment on this kid. At first Eddys ceiling was so high but now its lowered half way or less than. oh and New York does have guys Chicago would want. Frye would do. Maybe Sweetney and a pick or Jerome James, Malik Rose and a pick for Curry and Harrington.

no they don't they just resigned harrington (who btw they got from nyk) and paxson said no to sweetney. in fact he said to everyone on nyk's roster in a recent magazine article a resounding NO

I would think they'd want Channing Frye anyways.

The Knicks walked away with the better end of the deal. A young stud like Curry and a proven veteran (though declining rather quickly)? One of the better moves Isaiah pulled off. Though Sweetney is a guy I like, Curry has a lot more potential.

i like it from the chicago's standpoint more. they have now pretty good young pf and draft picks. and i hope from human standpoint that curry's heart is ok.

Ok, I just read that Isaiah signed Curry to a 6 year, 55 million dollar deal. That might turn out to be an enormous mistake if Curry's heart condition surfaces, or if he fails to live up to his potential. But it could also be a good deal if Curry becomes that dominant player he has the potential of becoming. Once again, Isaiah is taking a huge gamble, not only by acquiring Curry, but also for giving him such a hefty contract when we don't know for sure what's going to become of Curry.

I believe that Curry's inefficient rebounding numbers is due to his lack of effort. He's bigger, stronger, and quicker than almost every 7 footer out there and if he really wanted to, I would not doubt that he could pull down 20 rebounds in a single game. But that's only if he wants to. Its all about effort and putting his mind to it.

Isiah is not taking a gamble. Money is never an issue in NY. If they have to pay lux tax fine, they have enough $$ in the front office, not to mention Stern supporting for them
