well, well...looks like Mr. Green will be getting more PT, than a lot of people expected! I felt just like someone, who previously wrote that Green was our payback by the Basketball gods, for the lost of Len Bias. I remember the feeling I got, while watching the draft with a friend of mine and saying that, " there is something special going on, " for Green to have fallen to us". It was too unreal! And deep down I truly felt that he was gonna get a chance to show a lot of his stufff. DO YOU THINK that the time is now, considering what has been happening to Tony ??

Who knows. I think this draft was a godsend though. Especially at where Danny was picking at. Len Bias and Reggie Lewis coulda been watching over the team from above. Who knows how the miracles happened. The celtics had more tragedies than any other team and maybe their spirits came back and did something.

It should be. Its amazing what kind of a team ours is despite all of the salary tie up in Blonut, Lafretz and Pierce. Danny did a great job at reassembling it.

Green might be the benifactor here. I see it more as Gomes and Reed moving PP, West and Ricky into the 2 more. With Dickau, West and Greene at PG.
Banks? Still.

You can never have too much young talent. If there are rotation logjams, it means more arrows in our quiver when negotiating trades. But any trades IMO will come about later in the season or next summer, once each player has had ample time to audition.

I'm a believer in Gerald Green. I have really high hopes for this kid. I think Doc will try to squeeze him into games just to get him exposure, whether or not he's ready for it. Doc probably saw how beneficial it was for the young kids (Jefferson, especially) to get playing time.
The sky is truly the limit for Green.

I can admit that, I salvinate when I think of Green getting the opportunity to play ! Has anyone seen the stroke on his Jumper ? Like I said before, it is rare to see someone so athletic with such a "sweet " stroke on the J. He will, in his career, just tantalize his opponents ! He has such poise and confidence for a youngster. Trust me, Gerald Green, "IS ALL THAT " ...... I can't wait >>>>

Yeah, he has a pretty advanced jumper for a guy his age. This is not to say that he is already a Dale Ellis caliber shooter. But for a 19 year old kid coming out of high school, he has a sweet shooting stroke that's pretty smooth and effortless. I think he can be a total package wing player because he's also a pretty good ball handler.

There would have to be trades coming up with these crowded wingmen. I say not Ricky though. He'll still be around I think anyways. Pierce may not be traded. But unfortunately, I think trading either Ricky or Pierce will open up the most space. 1 of them take your pick. I don't think both stay at the end of the day. I think it will be a matter of if PP buys into the new system even more or not. If he does and becomes a team player (sorta unlikely), Ricky may be gone.
