I'm a diehard Baltimore Orioles fan, and have been one since 1991.
Fresh is a Minnesota Twins fan, for whatever reason.
And what may be the strangest thing, CF is a Kansas City Royals fan.
Anyone on CG a fan of a MLB team?

Sorry Fresh. Didn't mean to ruin your day. Actually, my pitcher Jake Arrieta (who I'm nearly ready to trade away if he doesn't shape up) gave up a 4 run 4th inning, and we were down 5 - 4 in the 8th. I was a bit irriated at that, being this was our home openor, coming off a winning series versus the East favorites Rays. I knew we could come back, but I wasn't expect a 5 run inning.
Chris Davis, my 27 year old 1B is on a torrid streak. Homered in each game so far (4) with 16 RBI, and a .600 BA. Slugging over 1.800%

KC looking good early. Offense exploded today and the pitching has looked much improved.

The Royals so far have been pitching relatively well, but just not hitting. Today they came alive with the bat.

i get my patience from sticking with teams i became a fan of as a kid. I've been through losing with the royals for decades lol. c's same thing all through the 90's. always stick with that team i grew up with though. hard not being a red sox fan in MA as my first team. I still like the sox though. The sox and pats are teams i follow but i've always been that way. don't know why. a lot of my friends jumped ship but same things. a lot of my friends were san fran 49ers and denver broncos fans from the 80's. their heart is still with those teams.
i'm originally from western mass which was bordering ny so you had a big mix of fans. out in the country.
i grew up a cowboys fan before anything else. all my friends growing were red sox or yankees fans though. i liked the royals for some weird reason lol. george brett.
that stuff goes back to when i was like 7 years old lol. i havent changed much. im still a large child.
i have all these baseball cards still from liek the 3rd grade. the year brett hit .390 as a matter of fact.

it's probably not much different than you being a celtics fan out in hawaii. But it's true this is baseball territory. YOu are either a red sox or a yankees fan.

Hey CF where in Western Mass are you from? You are so right about the red sox or yankees fan thing as I'm from western mass as well. I am a yankees fan (big Mo Rivera fan right here) but i've basically lost most of my interest in baseball that I don't really follow it much anymore. I was a huge fan during the peak years of the steroid era (when sosa and bonds were hitting bombers). It's a shame looking at the yankees now overpaying and giving ridiculous contracts to players over their prime. I was really in love with the Rivera, Paul O'Neill, and Bernie Williams' team.
