Perkins has value in my eyes. I think he'll be an important defensive player off the bench for us. Quality depth at the 5 spot is very important, and Perkins can give us that.

This will possibly be a make it or break it year as was said before. But I think he will put up some decent games. I just hope he won't be one of those guys to play well because he wants a contract. I put him above those types of guys. Perkins definitely needs to work on coordination and footwork. He was a 27th pick as a hs big man so this is the project thats expected.

Perkins will be a better player than most people expected. Hasn't gotten the playing time, plus some maturity (hard fouls) on his part.

I like the trade for PJ Brown; would give us a solid rebounder and defender for two years while AJ and Perkins continue to learn.

And he won't be a guy to stand in their way once their games are ready to receive more of the spotlight. Plus, he's a solid veteran and professional--the kind of guy you want mentoring Perk and Jeff.

I like the idea of acquiring a vet like Brown. Teach our young studs the ropes.

Name me the proposed trade for PJ Brown? Where did this come from since my last post? I would want to give up Pierce and Scala/Blount to get Chris Anderson, PJ Brown plus Casey Jacobsen.

Oh man, that's highway robbery, Meltin. Pierce and Brine (or Blount) for Chris Anderson, PJ, and Casey Jacobsen?

Highway robbery for us? I don't really think so.

No, we are getting ripped off in that deal. PJ is on his downside of his career, and Chris Anderson isn't really that good. Casey Jacobsen is the only player who may have potential left. We do need a real sharp shooter (purs shooter) cause I don't feel like we have one. Delonte is a scorer, more than a pure shooter, though I do consider him a pretty good shooter.

Not if 2 picks are involved by them. Those 3 plus 2 firsts would work like an unprotected first and a protected first.

i think that if we were to get more picks they should at least be in the top ten. no point of stockpiling those late first rounders and second rounders. we have too many youngsters, we should turn them into stars now, whether through trades or through development that remains to be seen. that's why danny calls the picks assets.

What if he plans to package all of those 2nd rounders + Mark Blount to move into the top 10? What if a sh|tload of 2nd rounders did the job there to put us in a top ten slot?
