I don't think that it is fair to say that some persons on this board, over-estimate Bynum and Greene. If you read anything on them (which is all we can do now), then you would know that they possess the skills that Danny desire in his PG - Defense, unselfishness and a reliable jumper ! In addition, Orien has the SIZE ! You gotta love just the prospect in these guys. Bynum has speed to the basket, but he can also FINISH the play.

The 3 Baltic states have more guts than a lot of other countries as they were the first to defect from the Soviet Union in about 1990 despite being a little smaller that the size of PA each. They also tend to side squarely with the US and England in international arenas whether it's popular or not. But I don't think I like the food.
If Bynum and OG were so good they would have been 1rst rnders

Fair enough C17. I guess I was saying they aren't underrated by people saying "I'm skeptical till they prove it"

There have been some first round picks who should have been second rounders, and some second rounders who should have been first round picks. Just because guys were drafted in the second round, doesn't mean that they're automatically set for an average career at best. I'm sure you didn't mean it that way.

I gues by my logic Dennis Rodman wasn't underrated by people when he was a 2nd rnder and by your logic he was. But actually my logic is that he wasn't underrated by people at that time based on the info they had. There was no way to project him. He is essentially a statistical fluke and I hope OG and WB will be as well. I'm just not counting on it and even if they become real good I don't think I underrated them by saying "prove it". I'm like THeo Epstein. I go by mathmatical likelihood

...even if they become real good I don't think I underrated them by saying "prove it". I agree. I think the same goes for all draft picks. They all need to "prove it" at the NBA level. I tend to have high hopes for all the guys in green, rather than expect performance.
