I don't see Perkins being the openning day starter over Raef, but I can see him gain more minutes as he gains more experience. He can start at 15-20 minutes per game with Raef getting 28-33 minutes (assuming the rumors of trying to move Blount are true and therefore blount is not part of the master plan). If he grows into a defensive stopper and strong rebounder like he has shown flashes of, he could eventually start. I can see him in a year or two average 9-10 rebounds and 2-3 blocks per game.

When Barkley hard fouled people he was the man. When Perkins does it there's something wrong with it? They can foul him back. They're all big boys that can take care of themselves just fine. I let the players and refs figure it out, and I don't think you can have a center that is too aggressive. He's a kitten compared to Lambiere, who was one of the best

Right you are, Meltin. Perkins can tone it down and be even more effective. He just needs to anticipate where to be a step sooner and not jump at every ball fake. Yea that sounds about right. It would be nice if he became that defensive irritator type without him getting ejected or fouling out.

If he keeps getting ejected, Mt Perk that is, he might be best on the bench (like a Jim Loscutoff). Bruiser type.

Yea most likely. He won't see minutes if he keeps getting ejected.
