i didnt even think this was possible. getting loney and 4 prospects and dumping every piece of garbage that was on the sox.

Dunno much about the sox but sometimes it is best to just strip the roster down and start fresh. seems like that is what they're doing.

I'm not a Sox fan (or anything other than a Celtics fan) but I kind of get into it by watching Comcast Sportsnet and Sports Tonight. They always spend a long time on the Sox and Pats so I kind of get to know what's going on.
The past two years for the Sox were terrible with players who really didn't seem to care and were disruptive and there also seemed to be a lot of controversy with Valentine as well. Nobody seemed to like him. I think starting over would be a good thing for them, including the manager.
