yeah he's a pacer now - 3 years, 12 million Its proof that better proven front offices always mostly get what they want. Pacers had Walsh for years and he knows talent and is proven. Ainge is good but he is not proven.

I admit I have kind of a love/hate relationship with Banks but I also have one with Delonte, so I guess I am just waiting on this position. Keep drafting. I think it's why I wanted Saras so bad. They may have to target someone great and go get him one way or another and give something up for it. Hmmmm. PP, Banks, and Delonte for J Kidd. Hmmm. No no no. Hmmm. PP, Banks, Delonte, 1rst rounder, 2nd, Tony Allen, Gomes, one million dollars, and Paul Gaston's soul for Steve Nash and J Johnson. Hmmm. I am getting nervous that at some point DA might just have to let a guy who was ok like Banks go for nothing or a song (2nd rounder).

What about Pierce, Perkins, and Delonte for Chandler, Hinrich, and Luol Deng? I don't know, just throwing some ideas out there to get ourselves a real good PG.

As much as I'd miss Perk I'd make that trade and encourage everyone to stay in touch with Perk and target him as a FA

Interesting thought, Eja. You think any one of our young players would premeditatively go to another team with the full intention of coming back once they are free agents? That's loyalty if there ever was such a thing. But wouldn't that be a deceitful way to get a target player without giving up anything.

It's not so different from what happened with the Glove. There's nothing wrong with parting on good terms. It's no secret he has friends here or that he liked playing here. It's also no secret he'll be a free agent some day. If the Bulls want him that bad offer him the monay. Whatever player we get in a trade (all the guys you mentioned) will also have contracts coming up and could go anywhere. You can target anyone you want in free agency
