New Van Halen is better than expected

I just heard 4 new songs off it. I was a huge VH fan growing up and had pretty much let go and didn't think it would be very good. But I'm pleasantly surprised. The 1st single they released I wasn't too big on, but the new songs I just heard are really fun. It's like 1980 all over again.

There's a couple samples. They have other samples on amazon as well. Not bad for a bunch of close to 60 somethings.

I wanted to catch these guys live, but I can't justify it after they treated Michael Anthony like crap. And Van Halen isn't Van Halen without a squatty bearded dude playing the Jack Daniels bass.

I just heard the whole record and it gets better. Thsi may be the best record they've ever done. I'm not joking. It's ridiculous. It may be one of the greatest heavy metal record ever recorded and when i say heavy metal i mean heavy metal.

It's like fair warning level. It might shock people it's so ridiculous no one buys it.
