Not too concerned about no pictures. They may have just taken him alive to interrogate and said he was dead to dissuade guys who would wanna break him out. Or maybe hes just like they said..dead.
Put it this way, Obama wouldn't risk his entire political career to say someone is dead, knowing that the someone would very well just pop up again and the american population would brand him a liar. It would be a very stupid gamble for any politician except Trump. Not even Bush would dare do such a thing. I'd have to assume based on the risks for a politicians that it has to be true.

That's a very good point jrmzt, but there are other possible exceptions. Mistaken identity. Perhaps he was killed earlier. Perhaps there's something they aren't saying like his whole head was blown off and they would have to show pics of a decaptiated OBL. I don't know. I'm just saying Obama's response is totally unacceptable.
And to point out a double standard people are saying Ghaddafi can't be trusted when he says his son and 3 grandsons were killed in an air strike because he hasn't proven it. Like it's really really unbelieveable that an Air Force that routinely kills innocent human shields may have killed some of his family members in an effort to get him.
There have been lots and lots of lies, incompetence, and half truths told by presidents that are dirty little secrets.
Bush, Reagan, Clinton, Nixon......even Lincoln suspended habeus corpus during the Civil War

True. All I can hope for is that Osama is truly dead. Pity though that the metaphor about chopping off the head of the snake doesn't apply here. Take him out and those terrorists are still as violent as ever.

you can hope for proof, right? Haha if I'm hoping for proof all the time, I'll still be hoping for definitive proof of Aliens that supposedly crash landed, Michael Jackson supposedly dead, proof of the moon landings, proof of paranormal activity, proof of a higher being, proof of the battle of Troy, etc etc..too many things that need proof. For me I guess without proof I'll just have to believe my gut instinct on what I think is true.

So you're saying that if Obama came out and said from the White House "My fellow Americans....and people of the world. I am here to tell you that we have certainly and indeed been visited by outer space aliens and that they did crash here. However all photos and other evidence will remain classified and the wreckage has been dumped at sea in an undisclosed location" You'd think "Wellllll I don't need proof or anything. I'll just go with my gut on this"? Also jr with the exception of MJ all those things you listed were either urban legend, paranormal, or legendary, and in the case of Troy it was proven anyway. This event is a real life event that can either be proven or disproven and it can be done so immediately.

Yeah if Obama came out and said it, I'd probably not care but I wouldn't really try dispute it since the odds of there being life out there are pretty high considering the trillions of possibilities on each planet. I guess what I'm saying is whether I believe it or not, I'll take things that aren't proven with a grain of salt. I'm not one to fully buy into a notion whole heartedly but I'm also not one to pursue something relentlessly unless it really meant something to me. There are always gonna be skeptics with each topic and I'm willing to be open to skeptical notions but that would be the extent of it for me.
