Praying that all is ok with you there in Hawaii and that the tsunami's aren't affecting you or causing damage there in Hawaii. Check in when you can!

Hope things are all right D! I am pretty sure Derren lives in Honolulu, so there is a good chance that he doesn't live right on the ocean.

Hey guys, thanks for the concern.
Yeah, all is fine with the Hawaiian Islands. Maui was the one who had the most significant waves, but I don't think they had any damages to buildings or anyone hurt.
I was studying the bible last night around 10, and I hear the sirens start to blare outside. Immediately, I thought we were under attack, so I turned on the tv to our local news, and found out there was a huge earthquake in northeastern Japan, and we were issued a tsunami warning.
Aside from road closures that forced me to take off from work (the state officials wanted folks to keep the highways and roadways free for those who needed to evacuate to safer grounds), it has been a relatively uneventful time here (thank the LORD).
But have you guys seen the pictures and videos of what's happened, and what's happening in Japan? Wow, just incredible damage there.

That's interesting that you have sirens for tsunamis. Here we have tornado sirens. The smaller towns also have sirens if there is ever a fire.

Yeah, we definitely need sirens to warn us of tsunamis and hurricanes here.

You thought you were under attack? By who? I admit I have no idea what I'd think if sirens went off here. Maybe a fire

Actually, I think AFCeltic moved off of Okinawa? I thought I saw his location being somewhere else.
Yeah, Eja, at first when I heard the sirens, I thought we were being attacked by terrorists.
These are the state wide alarms that sound very loudly in all directions, so I knew something important was happening.

I'm glad to hear all is well with you Derren. I forgot about AFCeltic also. Will be praying for his safety also. My prayers and heart are with all those in Japan. What a terrible catastrophe. When I hear of all these earthquakes, Matthew 24 comes to mind.

AFCeltic is now in Virginia, according to his listed location.

Derrenmatts lives.
Japan is not doing so hot.
The earth is upset. Maybe people should start listening to it? Considering it's all we have that would be wise?

I actually observed the twin towers burning and we didn't have any

I'm not sure if it's alarms for any type of emergency, or it's just for tsunamis, but my initial reaction was to think we were under attack.
